{insert generic title of your choice}

I don't want to make any more decisions.  Not even to select a title.  You pick.  I'm game.

I am waiting to go stand out under this sky and see if I can find Mars.

It had been a loooooooong time that I had sought out anything in the empyrean regions.  Somewhere along the way I lowered my head, turned away from the moon and the stars and locked a hard gaze just in front of me.  Maybe I forgot how to look up.  Sometimes I feel that I may have let go of the looking.

I realized it had been so long when I went out on the beach Friday (was in St. Pete), at 3 a.m. just to stare at the ocean.  It was like seeing a loved one, after having not seen them for a very long time.  The view was almost dream-like: moon, almost  full, creating the perfect path for me to walk right out onto the water and never look back.

At 3 a.m. I sat on the wooden cabanas, a ghost town of sorts from the day's events of people, and color, sun and activity.  I started talking, out loud, to God.  My voice like someone else's, one I didn't recognize.  Certainly one that was in unfamiliar territory of late.

It felt foreign and familiar at the same time.

I don't know what to make of it, and right now, that is just alright.
