I am going to be a post or two behind, it seems.  Don't give up on me!  Turns out, Uncle Sam requires masses and masses of papers and documentation, (not my strong suit...) etc. in order to file the return (yes, we are JUST NOW DOING IT - why give the GOV money sooner than needed...) (Aaaaaaaand this would be ONE of the MANY reasons living abroad is looking MIGHTY NICE) in the ANTIQUATED system known as the IRS.

I had so many parentheses I couldn't figure out which way they needed to go.

I will return - when my RETURN is complete.  Say a prayer.  Nothing makes me ornerier than this very type of thing.  Paperwork/phone calls, etc. make me crazy.
